It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shania Covington-Smith , who died on May 13th at the age of 32 in Minneapolis, MN. 

Shania was born on June 10th 1993 in St. Paul, Mn to Paz and Aaron Sr. Shania was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend. Shania brought light to everyone who knew her smile, kindness and strength.

She is survived by her son Pernell, Her Mother Paz, Her Father Aaron Sr., Her bonus mother Yvette. Her brothers; Aaron, Corey and Rayvon. Her sister Rayven. Her nieces and nephews and everyone else who loved and cherished her.

Shania was known for her loving heart. Her love for her family. She was a show stopper with a beautiful soul inside and out. Shania could light up any room with joy and laughter. And had the most beautiful caring and loving heart and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it and her love and kindness will truly be missed dearly. 

A memorial service will be held on June 6th 2026 at 793 Armstrong Ave. St. Paul, MN 55102. From 2-4pm.
