Sandra Mae (Wahl) Poffenberger
Born 9/26/1946. Died 3/10/2023 at the age of 76. Survived by three grandsons; Bradley Hue (wife Marina), great grandson Keaton, Jessie Huelsnitz (wife Shawna), and Lucas Williams. Also survived by brother Walter Wahl (wife Susan), and many nephews and nieces. 
Preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Donald C Poffenberger just a few weeks prior. Also preceded in death by daughter Edith F. Huelsnitz; parents Harvey M. & Jean M. (Rew) Wahl; Father & Mother in law Donald C. and Linnea V (Palmer) Poffenberger; Nephew Brent D. Wahl.
Sandra was born in Detroit Lakes Minnesota, and then moved with her family to rural Buhl Minnesota at a young age. She attended school at Buhl High School, Eveleth Area-Technical School, and Hibbing Area Technical Institute. She married Donald in 1969. They lived on Snelling Avenue in Don's family home, and then purchased their forever home in New Brighton in 1976. Sandy worked many years at Abbott Northwestern in medical billing, and then finished her career at Dalco Enterprises in billing. 
Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family, reading books, and watching the Vikings play. She enjoyed socializing with neighbors including the "Third Street gang". She and Don shared 53 years of marriage, and she was lost without him after his sudden death mid-January of this year. Sandy will be missed by all, but will be enjoying life in heaven with Don and their dogs Fonzie and Hansel.
