Stockinger, Roger G, Age 87 of New Brighton, on November 20, 2020 went home to our Lord after a 5-year battle with Alzheimer’s. Roger had a 30-year career with the City of Minneapolis. He enjoyed trips with the family in the 25-foot camper, and teaching his kids to fish, and duck and deer hunting with the boys. He also enjoyed building and fixing things and was an accomplished handyman and jack of all trades. Most importantly, he was a devout and faithful man, husband and father. He was preceded in death by his son James, his brother Tommy and sister Betty. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathleen and children Mary (Jeff) Wagner, Susan (Robert) Jensen, Judy (Bob) Flett and Michael (Heather) Stockinger and grandchildren Grace and John, Claire, Kyle and Erin, Allison and Joe, Laura and Henry and Roger’s sisters, Marlene Stockinger, Pam Johnson, and Cindy Dahmen. A special thank you to Allina Hospice and Johanna Shores for the amazing care, advice and comfort on this journey. Services at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2729 Stinson Blvd., Mpls, MN 55418 Wednesday, November 25. Reviewal in the Atrium of church starting at 10:00 AM, and Mass of Christian burial at 11 AM.
