Nancy Jeanette Sorrell

Nancy Jeanette Sorrell (Kenow), 82, from New Brighton, MN and originally from Faribault, MN passed away peacefully after a brave battle with cancer on July 26th 2022 at Methodist Hospital in St Louis Park, MN. She was surrounded by her son, daughter and grand daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Jeanette Kenow, and her husband Louis Sorrell Jr. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law David and Gloria Kenow, her daughter and grand daughter Camille McCord and Stephanie Perdue, her son and daughter-in-law Louis Sorrell V and Aimee Golden-Sorrell, her stepdaughter Gianna Kone', step grandson and daughter-in-law Nicholas and Kaitlyn Jurgensen, step grandson, daughter-in-law Phil and Stephanie Jurgensen, and her great grandson Jameson Jurgensen, and also her step grandson Timothy Jurgensen. She is also survived by countless adopted children, furbabies, family and friends she claimed into her family and care. 
She loved nature, playing piano, coloring, listening to her favorite hymns and gospel music, watching tv shows that reflected her love for her Savior Jesus Christ. Before she retired in 2020, she especially enjoyed working at her local Walmart in Fridley, MN where she would meet new friends and offer them any help and assistance they needed. Above all else, she loved spending time with family and friends, taking care of multiple fur babies over the years, and sharing her faith and love for Jesus Christ with her family, friends and strangers alike. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her, and we are all happy that one day we will see her again in our final Heavenly resting place with our Lord Jesus Christ.
