The Life and Legacy of
Mariama Dabah Thomas

Mariama Dabah Thomas (nee Koneh) passed away
peacefully on February 13, 2024, in Arlington, TX. She was
born on January 1, 1961, in Douala, Cameroon.

She was the daughter of Gassimou Koneh and Maimouna
Diallo and had 7 sisters and 4 brothers. She is preceded in
death by Adidja Diallo, Aissata Koneh, Musu Koneh, Hawa
Koneh, Abdoulaye Koneh. She is survived by Bintou Diallo,
Adiza Ahmadou, Mohamed (Ouba) Koneh, Moeba Koneh,
Mohammed Koneh and Zaynabou Koneh.

She married Robert Henry Thomas on April 25, 1987 in
Monrovia, Liberia and together they had 2 daughters- Cheryl
Amelia Thomas and Natasha Aurelia Thomas and a
stepdaughter- Precious Audrey Thomas. She is also survived
by 7 grandchildren- Jamilah Arianna Richards, Jesse Bryon
Lee , Oyinmie Andrew Thomas, Oyinnua Averie Ariye,
Nathaniel Asher Mfonelege, Clement Ambe Mfonelege and
Neba Abdoulaye Mfonelege Jr.

She graduated with a Secreterial degree and retired as
Business Manager Assistant from Trinity Episcopal Cathedral
in Monrovia, Liberia.
