Kathleen Smith

Kathleen Renae Smith “Halvorson”, born August 23, 1950, to Betty (Pederson) and Eldon Halvorson. Kathleen graduated high school in 1968, from Twin Valley, MN and attended Morehead State University. Kathleen worked at Midwest Motor Express for many years. She married the love of her life, Herb Smith on March 12, 1990. Kathleen was most at peace and enjoyed nothing more then spending time with God. Kathleen loved, cared and prayed for each person she encountered throughout her beautiful life. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, adult coloring, church activities and riding around with her hubby in their golf cart. Kathleen passed away February 11, 2023, after a long battle with kidney failure. She preceded death by parents and siblings, Michelle Pagel, and Rolin Halvorson. She is survived by her loving husband, who was also her dedicated caregiver; her brother Kim Halvorson; her two aunts, Florence Kindseth and Patricia Pederson; her two nieces, Tonaya Rysavy and Crystal Halvorson; her step-
