Eleanor Quandt Obituary

Quandt, Eleanor “Ellie” Regina (Nee) Grotkin age 93 of Saint Anthony Village, passed away peacefully on Feb 5, 2021. Born in Benton, Wisconsin and attended high school at The Mound at Sinsinawa with the Dominican Sisters. Bachelor’s degree in economics from Clarke College of Dubuque, Iowa. Former H.S. teacher in Warren, IL.  Secretary to the President of Parker Pen.  Long time accountant for the Minnesota Supreme Court.  Ellie had a strong Catholic faith and was a long-time member of Saint Charles Borromeo.

Preceded in death by infant son, John Quandt; brothers, John & George Grotkin; and Bob Quandt.

Loved and missed by children, Kathy (Paul Krotz), Mary Quandt, Dan (Cathy), Jim (Christine); grandchildren, Erin, Maria, Larissa, Malik, Regina (Robby), Tim, John, Emily, Kayla and Mckenna; many relatives and friends.
