Amos Barrett Ferrier, 38, of Minnesota, passed away May 17, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Liam and Elliot Ferrier; his parents, Doug and Leah Ferrier; and his siblings, Isaac Ferrier, Liza Hedrick, Amy Fox, and Crystal Hickerson; and nieces, nephews and great nieces.
Amos grew up in northern Minnesota and proudly served his country as an Army combat medic and recognized for saving many lives, with deployments to South Korea, Afghanistan, and Djibouti. He later worked in roles and locations using his combat training in the medical field, continuing his commitment to serving others and his fellow veterans. He served in the Minnesota and Colorado National Guard.
In his final years, Amos found renewed purpose and community through Every Third Saturday, a veterans support group, where he grew in faith, rebuilt cherished relationships, and touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his quick wit, generous spirit, and his gift for friendship.
