William E. Stinehart

Fort Snelling #2William (Bill) Eugene Stinehart 74 of Minneapolis, passed away Wednesday (December 18, 2019) at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis. 
He was born May 5, 1945 in Wabasha, Minnesota to Eugene and Mary (Folkert) Stinehart. He grew up in the Rochester, Minn., area and graduated from Blooming Prairie, Minn., High School in 1963. He served in the Army from 1964 to 1967. After an honorable discharge from the Army he worked at various companies in Minnesota. 
He married Elizabeth Donaldson on July 26, 1968 in Rochester Minn., they had 3 children, later they divorced. He later met Florence Wood and had a long relationship and had 1 child together.  
Bill is survived by his children: Steven, Melissa and Christina all from Columbus, Ohio: a daughter Leslie Wood (Dymtro Vagner) of Mound, Minn.; two sisters; Kathleen (John) Meyer of Blooming Prairie, Minn.; Karen (Curt) Oeltjenbruns of Claremont, Minn.; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.  
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Daniel; sister, Sandra and his longtime companion Florence Wood. 
Review will be from 11 a.m. to noon on December 26th, 2019 followed by the service at start at noon. Burial will be at Fort Snelling at 1:30 p.m. assemly isle #2
