It is with profound sadness and deep regrets that the Jaywheh, Otu, Pope and Bansah families announce the untimely death of Mrs. Joyce Oach Otu-Jaywheh.

This tragic event occurred on Saturday, March 24th , one day after her birthday, at her ELWA residence in Monrovia after she was viciously attacked and murdered by an unknown assailant(s).

She was a loving wife, an awesome mother, a caring daughter, sister and friend. While we struggle to understand this horrific tragedy, Joyce’s death has left a huge void in the family.

Honoring her legacy while cherishing her fond and indelible memories are her darling husband, William Bowee Jaywheh; her children: Biko, Charles, Barwlu, Benjay, Jackie and Bowena; her mother, Mrs. Florence Pope Otu; Ebusua Panyi; her brothers: Isaac Otu Jr. (Jebeh), Kobina Otu (Janet), Benjamin Otu (Teta), Kobina Otu (Janet), Mr. Ebo Tekyi and Michel Otu; her sister: Cecelia Otu, Arama Bansah (Emmanuel), Sophie Otu-Faulkner and Nana Ot; and other relatives including nephews, nieces, cousins, aunties, and uncles in the United States, Ghana, and Liberia.
