The Barbly, Lighe, Balla, Baysah, and Dahn families are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Hawa B. Barbly, a Licensed Minister of Bethel World Outreach Ministries International Inc. She entered the Lord’s eternal rest on Monday, June 25, 2018 after a protracted battle with Cancer. She was affectionately known as Ma Hawa, Minister Hawa, Mama, and Mildred. Minister Hawa Barbly was well known and loved as a Minister of Music, Worshipper, Wife, Mother, Daughter, Friend, Encourager, Confidante and a Believer in God. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Gabriel Barbly, Senior Pastor of Bethel World Outreach Church, Fargo, her children: Antoinette Darnet Lighe, Lemuela Kau Kpolar, Caleb G. Lighe, Manaseh Leeneh Kpolar, Joshua Degein Lighe; her parents: Abraham Balla and Cairbeh Baysah; Siblings: Terry Haji Balla, George S. Dahn, Korboi Balla, Brent Balla, Mayatu Balla (who predeceased her); and a host of spiritual children, nieces, nephews, relatives and cherished friends she saw and treated as sisters.
Minister Hawa Barbly believed in the power of God. She lived to worship God. She was of the conviction that God has a special work for each of us to do on earth and when that work is done, He calls us home to be with Him. She and her husband, Rev. Gabriel Barbly planted the Bethel World Outreach, Fargo. She ministered to countless believers even during her illness. Her life was an inspiration to many and she will be dearly missed. The words of the Apostle Paul are certainly true concerning her: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (II Timothy 4:7).
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest in perfect peace!
