KNIGHT, AUDREY (ONSTAD) WALLIS

Age 85 of Minneapolis, quietly passed away October 14, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace in St. Paul, MN.  She was born in Fosston, MN, to Selvin & Dolores Onstad, and grew up in McIntosh with her five brothers and three sisters.  After graduating in 1951, she moved to Mpls. and worked at Northwest Bank.  She met and married Jim Wallis, with whom she raised their five children in Fridley.  Audrey worked in Accounts Payable at Target until her retirement.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and spending time with her grandkids.  She was proud of her Norwegian heritage and spent many years researching her family genealogy.  She is survived by her children, Jody (Andy) Hampton, Carol (Dave) Kogler, Bonnie (Jim) Brun, Thomas Wallis, Michael Wallis; grandchildren, Ryan, Kristen, Jacob, Erik, Mark, Nicholas, Michael, Zachary, Mitchel; great-grandchildren Kaden and Addison; Sisters-in-law Donna and Marion Onstad.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Delvin (Jean), Russ (LaVerne), Donny (Lolly), Randolph, Joel Onstad; sisters Joyce (Norm) Moen, Sylvia Mourning, Karen Nielsen; granddaughter Andrea Hampton; former husband Jim Wallis. Funeral service Friday, Oct. 19 at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church 8211 Red Oak Dr., Mounds View.  Visitation at 10:00 AM and service at 11:00 AM.  Inurnment Sunset Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family or Lifespark, Heartland Hospice, and Our Lady of Peace.  Special thanks for the care and services provided by them these last few months.
