Yealea Zlanpo Whern, of Minneapolis, MN; formerly of Nimba, Liberia, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Hennepin County Medical Center. She was 63 years old.

Survived by husband, Daniel Whern; other loving family and friends.

Wake Keeping 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11th at River of Life Lutheran Church. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12th at the church. Burial at Mound Cemetery.
