It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that the Weah & Amah families announce the home-going of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie, Deaconess and sweet, dear friend, Sister Ruth Beverly Nyenchie Weah Amah. Mama shuffled off this mortal coil and saw the face of her Lord and savior on March 23rd, 2017, surrounded by the loving care of her daughters.

Ruth was a loving mother, a devout Christian, an accomplished midwife with what can only be described as a Heart of Gold. She strived in this life to help others, care for her family and serve her Lord. Mama, SweetTooth, we will always love and miss you! May you rest in sweet peace and may light perpetual shine upon you.

Sister Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Hazel Weah; her husband, Dr. Alfred N. Amah and her sons, Kevin and Chester Warner. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Luther Warner, Comfort Amah Johnson, Ruth Sayju Warner Kollie, Alfred Seley, Janet Warner Lamin, Alfred Amah Jr., Alfreda Amah-Clarke, Jaso Amah, Stephen Amah and Alphonso Amah; her sisters & brothers: Florence Jaurey, Marlene Koffa, Albertha Weah, Bonnie Krakue, Annie Warner Epps, Lillie Ann Weah, Prince Weah and Timothy Weah; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and dear friends in the United States and Liberia.
