Bombo Kollie Alan, of Minneapolis; formerly of Lofa County, Liberia, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. He was 75 years old.

The Alan family regrets to announce the death of their beloved Father, Brother, Uncle, and Grandfather, Mr. Bombo K. Alan Sr.  This sad event occurred on March 15, 2017 at the Camden Care Living Facility in Minneapolis, MN.

Mr. BK Alan Sr. (as he was called by most) was born on October 20, 1941 in Lofa County, Liberia. He was a graduate of the Booker T. Washington Institute and the University of Liberia majoring in Accounting. He worked in a number of positions for the Liberian Government including the General Service Agency (GSA) and the Ministry of Finance and later moved to Bong Mines where he worked until the Liberian civil war. Mr. BK Alan Sr migrated to the United States in 1998. He suffered a stroke in October of 2003 and never fully recovered until his demise on March 15, 2017.

Our Father leaves to mourn his loss his children: T-Humphrey Gbassagee(Josephine), Selena Stewart, Prince Gontee( Hawa),  Alex Gontee( Talloh) , Roselyn Clarke( Rocky), Kollie Alan, Rogina Wright(Larry) , Bendu Alan Kromah, Bennie Alan , BK Alan Jr( Becky) , Henry Alan , and JK Alan.

His Siblings: Varney Alan, Philip Momotai, Salome Alan Brewer, Gebeh Alan, Koilor Alan, Jojoe Alan, and Kpanah Joejoe Gobah
Nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends including his Bong Mines family.  Funeral Arrangements is as follows:  Besides the Family, Church, and the Bong Mines Community all other tributes will be made at the wake.
