Betty MacGregor, of St. Anthony Minnesota passed away on April 29th in her home while in hospice care, she was 91 years old.

Betty was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Hinckley, MN as a young child and graduated from Hinckley High School in 1942. Afterwards she moved to Minneapolis where she met her husband and they built a home in St. Anthony Village to raise their family.

Betty had a 33 year career with Central Northwestern Bank prior to her retirement in 1983. Betty was devoted to her family and her grandchildren. She cherished her role as grandma and was known by many in her St. Anthony community as "Grandma Betty."

She was preceded in death by her parents, David & Adeliede Tenquist Carlson and husband Harold MacGregor.

She is survived by her son David MacGregor (Mary), daughter Nancy Jenks (Jim), grandchildren Hal MacGregor (Ashley), Mitch MacGregor, Matthew Jenks and Tracy Whittaker (Jay) and great-grandchildren Evelyn & Reid MacGregor and Callie and Casey Whittaker. The family would like to acknowledge the loving support of special neighbors, the Kelly family.

Celebration of her life service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, May 5 at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel, 2701 Central Avenue NE, Minneapolis, reviewal will be 2 hours prior to the service and there will be a social hour following. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetary.

Memorials preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
